This trek is suitable for experienced trekkers who have previously completed multi-day Himalayan treks and are comfortable with remote wilderness travel. Wildlife researchers, nature photographers, and serious adventure trekkers are ideal candidates due to the isolation and raw terrain.
Extremely dense rainforest sections, leech-infested trails, frequent river crossings, high humidity, long walking days, limited communication, and logistical dependence on forest permits and local guides. Weather can change rapidly, and rescue options are very limited.
High level of cardiovascular endurance, strong leg strength, and the ability to walk 6–8 hours daily with a loaded backpack. Prior experience with multi-day treks and good mental resilience are essential.
